Line readings: first-step and step prices for every sampled Tigbuy line
Four line families, sixteen destinations, one date. Each line’s step price divided by twenty gives the price per gram at which its two sides are level.
How a step price becomes a crossover
Every sampled Tigbuy line bills the same way: a first-step price for anything up to 200 g, then a step price for each further 200 g or part of it. The step price is what a find adds per 200 g once the first step is paid, so it is the fair figure to set against a percentage.
Ten percent of the charge base has to equal the step price spread over the grams. Written out: 0.10 x base = weight x step price / 200. Divide both sides by the weight and the level point is base per gram = step price / 20. That is the crossover, in yuan per gram of charge base.
So a ¥20 step gives a crossover of 1.00, a ¥30 step gives 1.50, and a ¥41 step gives 2.05. Lower step prices make the crossover lower, which means more finds end up with the price side in front.
The crossover is our arithmetic on Tigbuy’s published quote fields, not a figure Tigbuy prints anywhere.

Fixed charges on the quotes: zero, line after line
Tigbuy’s quote data has fields for charges that would not depend on weight at all: a fuel charge, a customs charge, a service charge per parcel, a payment charge and a tax. In the 196 quote lines we read on 17 October 2026, across sixteen destinations and four weights, every one of those fields was zero.
That is the condition the whole crossover idea rests on. If a line added, say, a fixed handling charge per parcel, part of every quote would belong to neither side, and the level point would move with the parcel weight. Some agents do quote charges like that. On these Tigbuy lines, on that day, nothing sat in the middle.
Tigbuy’s own cost page says international freight is charged by weight, delivery method and customs clearing charges. In the quotes, any clearing cost is inside the line price; it is not listed as a separate amount. If a fixed field ever shows a value, the readings on this site stop being accurate for that line, and we would say so on Updates.

SW standard lines
SW lines are the largest family in our sample: 21 country-lines across twelve European destinations, with no SW line offered for the United States, Canada, Australia or Brazil. Their first steps run from ¥40 to ¥100 and their steps from ¥17.50 to ¥30, which puts their crossovers between 0.88 and 1.50.
Names are shown as Tigbuy’s English interface shows them, Chinese characters included. Several destinations list more than one SW line, and two Irish lines carry the same name with different prices, so the dial keeps them apart by Tigbuy’s internal line number.

YT-OU-DHL-PY lines
The YT-OU-DHL-PY family appears for twelve of the sixteen destinations, always once per country. It has the narrowest spread of any family: first steps of ¥55 to ¥120, steps of ¥23 to ¥26, crossovers from 1.15 to 1.30.
Because the steps barely vary, a find’s reading on this family is close to the same wherever it goes in Europe. What changes from country to country is mostly the first step, which matters for the ship-alone reading of light finds.

YT global postal lines
The postal family is the one line offered to every destination except the United States, and for Canada, Australia and Brazil it was the only line at all. It has the highest first steps in the sample, ¥170 to ¥270, and steps of ¥28 to ¥41, so crossovers between 1.40 and 2.05.
Two features follow from that. A light find shipped alone on this family carries a large first step, so its weight side leads unless the charge base is well above ¥1,700. And because the steps are steep, a heavy find’s weight side grows quickly.

The single US line
For the United States the estimator returned one line, SDH-US-USPS: ¥65 for the first 200 g, ¥30 for each further 200 g, and a limit of 4,999 g. That makes its crossover 1.50 CNY/g, at the top of the SW range and below the postal lines.
With only one line there is no choice to make on the weight side; the reading depends on the find alone. Anything up to 200 g shipped by itself needs a charge base above ¥650 before the price side passes the first step. Above 200 g, each extra 200 g adds ¥30, the same as the service charge on ¥300 of item price.
At 1,000 g the quote service returned ¥185 for this line, which Tigbuy’s pages show as $28.46 at the site’s table rate. The Price side page explains why that conversion leaves the reading unchanged.

How the readings were taken
All figures on this page come from one session on 17 October 2026. We loaded a Tigbuy page to get a normal browser session, then asked the same quote service the estimator page uses for sixteen destinations at 200, 500, 1,000 and 2,000 g. Requests went out a little over a second apart, 64 in total.
We used a 10 x 10 x 5 cm box so that no line would bill by box size, and we kept only these fields from each answer: line name, first-step weight and price, step weight and price, line limit and the total. Recomputing each total from the step fields matched Tigbuy’s own figure in 196 of 196 cases.
Tigbuy’s estimator page sends signed-out visitors to the login page, so do not expect to reproduce these quotes without an account. Prices on third-party lines can change; Tigbuy’s form says carriers adjust freight to market conditions. We plan to re-read the quotes by 31 October 2026.
